This class gives residential home builders a foundational understanding of cold-formed steel (CFS) framing and then brings those concepts to life with a guided walkthrough of Steel-IQ's digital design-to-fabrication workflow. Attendees will see firsthand how a building goes from digital model to precision-manufactured steel frames on the production floor.

Participants will:

• Understand the fundamental properties, advantages, and applications of CFS framing in residential construction
• Compare CFS to traditional wood framing across durability, dimensional consistency, sustainability, and build predictability
• Identify project types and site conditions where CFS delivers the greatest value for home builders
